One Internet site that you didn’t mention is Quora. They are like some of the sites you mentioned, but a lot more liberal. You may not have mentioned them because a number of their 'spaces', as they call them, do mix exhibitionist and sexuality with nudism. Unfortunately, this fall they had a big purging of users and spaces. Many of the previous posts that had any nudity were wiped out, and people (like me) weren't allowed to re-register for a while. We had to start anew. There is SOME content that you may approve of there. Quora covers every subject imaginable.

Thanks for suggesting Quora. I get their daily digests, just for fun. Some of the questions and answers are pretty wacko, while a few are interesting. I've considered starting a naturist space there. However, like just about all other online social media, it's a very mixed bag, and would take a lot of time to monitor. Plus, as you note, the site tends to penalize naturism. So, my general recommendation to not depend on social media stands. However, there are a few good naturist subreddits on Reddit that seem to handle questions and responses well. Otherwise, what FCC chairman Newton Minnow said about TV in 1961 applies to online social media today - it's a vast wasteland (for the most part).

I went to Reddit earlier this year for the nudist/naturist sections, but I was soon put off by the number of what I can only describe as dick pics. And while I know many people are wary of showing their faces and do identifying themselves as nudists, the number of pictures with pixelated or blanked out faces was saddening - if you can’t be there completely don’t be there at all, otherwise why are you publishing the pictures?

It's the closet. Unfortunately most nudists feel no need to leave that closet. It is very comfortable and the world is a scary place.

Well, to each their own. These people must be satisfied with the closet, but evidently they never think that they're missing the opportunity to find more naturist friends. Social nudity means being able to enjoy it with others.

It's no mystery why some people post pictures with sexual nudity. But those individuals are NOT naturists. Reddit has subreddits for almost anything you can imagine, including porn. But the thing is, every subreddit is moderated by one or more persons who decide what to allow or not allow. I don't' think any moderation is by algorithms, as on Facebook.

There are a small number of subreddits that allow almost no pictures, especially no porn. The best may be r/nudism. r/socialnudity is also good, but has much less activity. Give those a try.
